Bird silhouettes as the sun is going down is almost just as pleasing as trying to get them in flight. However, when both worlds collided the results are just what I like.
More view from my family's NH home. Sunsets are amazing but the view during the day is just as breathtaking. I love when the fog + clouds start to cover the mountain.
I got to spend my birthday weekend with my family in NH. My only birthday wish was to see + photograph a waterfall of any size. My dad brought us to the Sabbaday Falls. Birthday Mission: COMPLETE!!!
My family's favorite spot for exploring the river. This spot is located right near the "Big Eddy". My brothers jump off it regularly + this year my husband did as well. I stood on the side lines to take the pictures (phew).
The obsession begins!! Capturing birds in flight is one of the best feelings. It's completely unplanned, candid + mesmerizing. Once in a while I will even witness a bird fight, which who knew?!
Sometimes I jump in my car with one of my cameras and see where it takes me. This afternoon Rehoboth + my instant camera were calling my name. I love the quietness here + how each road is lined with trees.
I've always loved birds but prior to this day I had never sat and bird watched. I bought my first bag of bird food + put it in our backyard. I sat on our stoop and waited. Although it takes a lot of patience I realized how awesome bird watching/photography can be. This was also the same day I captured my first clear Blue Jay photo. I took as it a sign I need to do this more often.
